Hos familiegartneriet Højvang Grønt har de dyrket løg igennem flere generationer. Placeringen på Sydvestsjælland, ikke langt fra kysten, giver gode vækstbetingelser for løgene, der vokser bedst under milde forhold.
Udover løg har Højvang Grønt i de seneste år udvidet produktionen til også at indeholde broccoli, blomkål, spidskål, kinakål og halloween-græskar.

Dangrow
At Dangrow in the middle of Jutland, the brothers David and Caleb have been growing vegetables since 1999. Organic and sustainability are at the forefront – for instance, food waste is reduced by chopping vegetables with odd sizes and shapes into convenience products which easily can be used for cooking.

Meet a grower
Axel Månsson
Axel Månsson is one of the most innovative producers of organic vegetables. Their own biogas plant converts biomass into green biogas and the degassed biomass is used later on as valuable organic fertilizer in the vegetable production. It preserves a healthy soil and tasteful vegetables.
